I bought the Bob Revolution SE Single Stroller about a month ago on a recommendation from a friend of mine who’s had one from this manufacturer before.
I’m so glad I listened to her. As a regular jogger, this stroller is everything you would want it to have. I don’t normally buy this sort of product based on it’s looks, but it just looks like quality right from the word go.
The most important factor for me is ‘does it look and feel safe for my child?’
The answer to this is definitely, yes. Without being too ungainly and hard to control, it really gives you the sense that it would take a lot to damage it.
I just love the solid car seat adapter this stroller has. I’ve had one before that wasn’t nearly as good and didn’t lock in properly.
This led to me not using it. You put this one on to the metal connectors and it feels as if it’s part of the unit. Lovely and secure!
There’s nothing like not having to wake our little one up by taking her out of her car seat when we go out. Out of the car, click her in place and away we go.
It handles rough ground really easily with it’s 3 tyres and it’s suspension and it has just tons of room for storage at the back and underneath baby.
A surprising amount actually, considering this is more of a jogger’s stroller and not particularly built for storage.
Bob Revolution SE Single Stroller 2015 Video Review
I don’t have the best upper body strength, so it was important to find a stroller that was easy to put together. This one, I’m pleased to say, only takes a couple of clicks and you are ready to go.
I also like (and this may seem a small thing), but the window in the hood of the stroller lets me see my daughter as I’m jogging and I can see if she needs me which really helps as it’s hard to hear her sometimes if it’s windy.
If you are going running with this stroller, I would recommend that you lock the front wheel as I found it a little hard to control over the rougher ground in the park when before I did so.
This may have just been for me, but if you are finding it tough to steer, then I would try it.
This stroller’s price is on the high side, but I can say without fear of contradiction that it is worth the extra money if you are a regular runner like me. If however, you don’t, you will find cheaper and more suitable ones elsewhere.
If I had to be picky, the only thing I don’t like about the design is the wrist strap that is permanently fixed to the right hand side of the handle. Great if you right handed, but I’m not, so I’m not able to use the strap. Just seems a bit silly.
All in all though, if you buy this stroller, I guarantee that you won’t regret it.
